I had a photo collaboration with a wonderful friend of mine. We both clicked pictures with our violin and shared them. :) Her version is beautiful. :)
I haven't played my violin in a long long time and I feel really very guilty. After learning it for so many years, I shouldn't just stop playing it. I wish to resume the violin classes but my college is going to get more hectic now. :( Gah, it makes me feel sad.
Anyways, I would love to know you honest opinions on the picture! :)

I have been away for a longggg time! My college started last Monday. It has been a hectic schedule. Also, there is no wifi in hostel, only in the college. :(
Last week we had our first course, typography. It was interesting, but also a little boring! We were actually doing alphabets. :|
We were taught the san serif and serif fonts. Here's a picture of the serif font assignment:

A book I borrowed from the library about typography! It's really good. And I just realize that I'm a day late in returning it! :/

A few pictures clicked in the garden today. :)

Fall For You

This is my favourite song at the moment. It's so beautiful. :') Please listen to it if you haven't! :)

It's my last day of vacation. And I can say, I'm still not used to going back to hostel. It's a mixed feeling. Excited for 2nd year and sad that I will be home only for one weekend in a month now onwards. I'm also excited to meet my college friends. :D And sad that I won't be meeting my Thane friends as often.

I had a sleepover with my bestfriend 2 nights back. It was super duper awesome! We roamed around in the car till dinner. We also went to marine drive and I had shawarma! And we ate cheese cake. ^_^ I couldn't click many pictures cuz I hadn't taken my camera stand and most of the pictures are fuzzy. But it's alright. It's all in my head. :)
Here are a few pictures:

Traffic bokeh! There was too much traffic! >.< But we heard so many songs on the wayy :D

Shawarma! :D

My bestfriend, Palak. :)

Cheese cake! *_*

A board hung at Moshe's! And we sure did all of that. :P

 Marine drive! *_*

I'm not much into jewellery but when I do feel like it, these are my favourite ones to wear:

I hope your week has started off well. Its kinda raining a lot here in Mumbai. I need to take some violin shots before the week ends as I go back to hostel next weekend! I'm kinda both happy and sad about that. :):
I did a lot of shopping yesterday (and I actually got tired by the end of it :O ). I didn't have time to watch The Amazing Spiderman. Hopefully I get to watch it this week!
Now I'm off to meet my friends! :D Cya! :)

I met an old classmate yesterday. After 3 years, I guess. We talked about random stuff, how our life is going on now. And somewhere in between the talking, I just realized how much I've changed. How much he has changed. And how we don't even know eachother now. As the years go by, we all experience things, good stuff and bad stuff. And now when you look back, you realize how much you've learnt from those experiences... I made choices, he made choices. We all make choices and have ended up being the person we are now because of those choices.
The best part of meeting my old classmate was that things weren't awkward even though we spoke after ages. It was nice meeting him. :)

Here's a quote from the book I just read, and it's also perfect for this:

"Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn't stop for anybody."

Just a bokeh picture to wish you guys a nice Sunday. :)

Yay, the books are here!

I wanted to read the perks of being a wallflower since ages. I've read amazing reviews of it. Finally I ordered it and it's here, yay! :D
The other one is Looking for Alaska by John Green. I've read many quotes by John Green and I loved them. So this is a first I'll read of his, and I'm sure it's going to be awesome. :D
If you've read any of John Green's books, please let me know what you think of them. :)

Quotes from these books which made me want to read them:
  1. "So, I guess we are who we are for alot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them."

              2.  "It always shocked me when I realized that I wasn’t the only person in the world who thought and felt such strange and awful things."

I tried freelensing with my camera today! It's really fun but you have to be careful that it's a dust free environment. And also the lens should be held firmly. This was just my first time, I'll need to practice a lot before I get some good shots. Here are a few that I clicked:

To understand freelensing check out here.
And to see amazing examples of freelensing, please check this.

Kids, they teach you so much. They are not afraid to show their feelings. They cry one moment, the next moment they find a new reason to laugh again. They don't have to care about how they look. They're honest. They are frank, if they don't like something they say so.  Simple things make them smile. They're never at loss for creativity. They believe in miracles even before they happen. Like during Christmas or on their birthday, they believe they're going to get what they want if they wish hard enough. They're are just so innocent.

I went to the park the other day. Just sat there and clicked pictures of kids. I miss my childhood.

Hair Spa Day!

I had planned to do a lot of stuff today, but it rained so I couldn't take my camera out. :( I ordered 2 new books, the perks of being a wallflower and finding alaska. I'm hoping to receive them in a few days. :D There's a movie made on the perks of being a wallflower which is going to be released in a few months time! You should all look at the trailer, I'm sure you'll love it!

I had nothing to do, so I decided to give my hair a treat! They smell extra sweet and feel extra soft atm. And I love it! <3
